The Karambit Doppler is one of the most pattern-sensitive items in CS2. The same skin name covers four base phases (Phase 1–4) and two extreme rarities (Sapphire, Ruby, Black Pearl) that drop with vanishingly small odds. Phase 2 sits at the bottom of the desirability ladder; Phase 4 with strong gold pattern at the top of the "non-rare" tier.

Sapphire and Ruby Karambits routinely sell for 20–30× the Phase 4 price, with verified low-float Sapphire FN reaching $40,000+ at private auction. The community has built tools that hash inspect-link patterns and cross-reference them against known reference databases, letting buyers verify they're actually getting what the listing claims.
